Budding Artists Take Flight with Willow Bird Sculpture

CBS Dungarvan's first and second-year art students took a creative leap today, participating in a willow sculpture workshop with artist Caoimhe Dunn.  The workshop saw students scaling up their wire bird maquettes to create impressive, larger-than-life willow birds.  Focusing on bird's native to the Dungarvan area, the students are crafting a flock of avian masterpieces.  The intricate willow structures will be further embellished and finished in the art room over the coming weeks, in preparation for a vibrant display at the St. Patrick's Day parade.  Keep an eye out for these magnificent birds taking flight in the festivities!
