Comhairle na nÓg
Our Student Council will attend Lawlor’s Hotel for Comhairle na nÓg.
Comhairle na nÓg child and youth councils give young people all over Ireland the chance to have their voices heard on the issues affecting their lives, both today and in the future.
It’s vital that young people know that their opinions, views, and ideas are being taken seriously in the decisions impacting them every day. Comhairle na nÓg gives them real input into policies on critical issues like mental health, climate change, diversity and inclusion.
Michelle Harding
As an etiquette and life skills coach Michelle, through “School of Life” is passionate about helping students manage all social and professional situations with confidence.
Michelle is a qualified international etiquette consultant, having trained in the London School of Etiquette, and the British Butler Institute. She is also a member of the International Association of Professional Etiquette Consultants.
Gaeilge24
The aim of this Gaeilge24 is to encourage young people to try speak Irish non-stop for one whole day, 24 hours: at home, at school, in shops and businesses, around the town, in sports clubs and with friends!
Dungarvan College Subject Taster Day
Transition year students get an opportunity to visit Dungarvan College for their Subject Taster Day. It takes place from 10.30 to 2.30.
SAOR workshop
SAOR workshop for 6th years. The Soar Foundation delivers preventative programmes, focusing on the well-being of all young people. These programmes are designed to increase a young person's self-awareness so they have greater emotional management and agility, can cope better with everyday challenges, and develop their inner confidence to fulfil their potential.
TY Bodhrán Making Workshop
Students make their own bodhrán in this workshop and apply their own designs which they have created in art classes.
Halloween Fancy Dress
Students and teachers are asked to get into the Halloween Spirit and join the fun by participating in our Fancy Dress Competition. It’s your chance to show off your creativity and win some spooktacular prizes!!!
U17 Hurling Match
Dungarvan CBS will play against St. Augustine’s in Fraher Field at 1:30pm
Minor Soccer Match
Dungarvan CBS v Comeragh College. Kick off 11 am in the Dungarvan United Grounds.
